How Can You Solve Loneliness?
People think writing about love is juvenile, overplayed, sometimes trivial. People go out of their way to write, to think about anything but love.
But isn't love the most lucrative subject to write about? If you think about it, any other problem can be solved by willpower, perseverance, acceptance, or simply letting it pass by.
But how can you solve loneliness?
You can get used to it. Fall in love with yourself. Be comfortable with solitude.
But being in love is such a powerful, intimate, excruciatingly beautiful thing to do that you can't help pouring your heart out over and over again.
Day and night, I pray for love. Not for somebody to love, but for the ability to fall in love again and again — no matter the ache, no matter how many times it left my soul split open and still asking for more.
Because love is hunger. Because it's what we were designed to do. Because love is the only thing to warm a gnawing soul.
Love kills. But love resurrects. Every fucking time.
